Pete.
On the neck being dry , when swapping from my Luke back to the Al it does feel dry and like you say bends seem to drag a bit,.

I agree with Spud though it's new and needs to be gunked up a bit , i need to change my strings soon so going to use the fret board wipes to see if it improves the feel..

Darren.

Congrats on the guitar that I want in my stable as of now than anything out there.I also like the color you have as it is the color I have seen the least out there out of all the AL's I have seen so far. I have stated this before but I was never crazy for the AL, I just thought is was a cool looking guitar, but I never had the feel for owning one. Funny how something like sticking a pair of Humbuckers and a rosewood neck on it made it look like a totally different animal that is now at the top of my must have list. I just missed by the skin of my teeth of landing one a few weeks ago which made me go from sick to psyched. With the announcement of the Roasted Maple/Black Sugar guitars this upcoming month I believe I will have the wickedest ax I have ever owned. The more you play your new AL the more you will lose any stiffness, and the more you will break it in as that is what you are dealing with now. I could remember guys who played in multi bands buying a new guitar, and giving it to there roadie to play and break it in for them.lol

Scoob I have to disagree with you on the Balls being the best secret, in fact I think they are just the opposite and are one of the hottest makes of guitars today and just keep getting hotter. With players from Country to Rock, Prog and Metal using them that is pretty diverse, and not many companies can boast having models used for so many styles. If anything the secret is out and the word is loud.

I love that powder blue with the tortoise, nice score, congrats and welcome to the forum!

I bought a mint green AL-HH earlier this year and have had no problems with stickiness.

Great guitar, enjoy!

The more I play it the bigger the smile gets and I'm only down the road from where the man himself was born in leominster. If any one wants a musicman cultural trip a visit to leominster then onto to see steve at knighton guitars to see what he has on the wall is well recommended! I think this might be the best guitar I have played
