Agree with xjbebop. The GC MM90 AL (mahog/rosewood) is a neat piece. Have had mine awhile. Can go from snappy to grindy with ease. Each toggle position is its own thing.

Very funny indeed that this subject is resurfacing just now...
I sold my AL pdn 2012 HH. Great axe but I have developped a definitive allergy to sunburst guitars.
Just purchased a mahog mm90, trem, rosewood neck, new condition. It should arrive any day now.
BUT... BUT... BUT...
It is black...And will definetly be refinished @ Marty Bell. What colour would you guys recommend?
I was thinking of a green-lime sparkle.

Go for the Gremlin Green sparkle - not many of those around. Also, with RW neck - darker sparkles works pretty well too. There used to be a thread where a guy here had done on in dark blue sparkle - it looked great! I noticed the pics are gone from the thread now though....

That's interesting and different
As hard as it is to predict, try to go with something that you'll (hopefully) still really like 5-10 years from now.
Some flashy colors just get old after awhile. A lot of them don't.
That's one of the draws to some simple color / finishes (like basic black...) , they might seem boring at first, but they always stay classy and never got out of style...
Not trying to dissuade you at all, just food for thought

Yeah, I agree black is not boring. It's not flashy, either, but a classy look, especially with the pearloid guard. The black covers on the MM90s is a great look. Nice AL, Bebop!
