Hi all, new member here. I’m interested in buying a Albert Lee MM90 and there don’t seem to be many for sale atm.
I figured that this is a great place to ask if anyone is looking to sell/ trade a tremolo model?
Thank you 🎸

Hi Leeds welcome, there is a thread dedicated to this sort of thing.

Try posting here: WTB Music Man Guitars.

You might want to keep an eye on this thread as well: eBay/Craigslist treasures.

Always a good idea to check on Reverb and EvilBay.

Finally, you can check out the Vault, they do international selling and shipping: Shop Ernie Ball Music Man - The Vault.

I love my AL with MM90's, just has that something special in my opinion.

Hi Glen.
Thank you for your information. Very helpful.
I’ve only just discovered these guitars by someone asking for a trade with my vintage Gretsch Silver Jet. Hopefully I will find one soon. They do seem to be very difficult to find for sale atm. I wonder if it’s been this way for a while?…
Best, Mark

Mark, the AL is a you either love it or hate kind of guitar, but those that find it and love, really love it. I have always loved the shape and once I got my first one, well, it was everything I thought it was, my first was a MM90 as well, maybe why I am partial to them.

There are a few on Reverb, you being in the UK I'm sure it's harder to get one let alone try one out.

The AL is the best guitar ever. Trust me, I've tried them all. ;)

The MM90 is the best version. Trust me I own them all. ;););)

wait, I thought the/my Axis Sport swamp ash MM90 is the best version lol. Well, even if the AL is the best, I LOVE my Sport. I have a Super Sport with humbuckers, a Sport with H/S/S and Sterling Axis that I converted to a Tele setup and a Sport with MM90's. My MM90 Sport is my favorite.

Looking difficult to find one in the UK. I’ve just bought a Sting Ray RS though :)
Enjoy! One of my favorite guitars - very comfortable and nails those vintage vibe humbucker tones very well.

My AL MM90 Dargie 1 finish is indeed one of my best guitar. I don’t take it on the road anymore as I am using trem more often this days and this one has none. Perfect guitar for the studio. I think thanks to that guitar I finish 3rd position in a French EBMM context the clean sound was out of this world.

So are all the non BFR AL MM-90s with solid rosewood necks from the GC run?
Are you taking about the HH or the MM90's? I've got a 2011 Black Sugar AL HH that's roasted maple and ebony that I absolutely love!!!

The AL HH's came as solid rosewood necks and still do.

In the 2000's you could get an AL with a maple neck and rosewood fret board.

MM-90s with a solid rosewood neck, but not BFR.
