..I'll touch it ...

How exactly does one 'try out' a prospective wife? As for 'jugs' well, I guess as long as there were the proper amount of them all would be well, at least for me. ;)

you can't try them out...because they're all nice...until you marry them!

hah..just kidding =) something one of my old bosses used to say =)

Is Bobby Pickngrin?

Or a cousin

Love how you play the country card.......

Here it is in a nutshell:

The guy was unreasonable while ordering

he was difiicult and profane upon attempted delivery

He has been REALLY rude to all involved

He used MY forum to slag us and complain and get sympathy by delivering misinformation.

he didnt expect that we would defend ouselves. If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen

The Internet is a place where people can take shots in the relative protection of their annonimity and comfort of their own home. This guy was not picked on we were defending our selves.

Bobby we had no idea where you were from until you played the Canada card. If I were you I would be apologising for a fellow Canadians behaviour rather than defending it.

I understand that beth but you avoided the question of the picture, and how you can judge it by seeing it in person. Its amazing how this simple thing can get so much run -on, I mean cmon would you purchase something just by looking at a picture especially a guitar of that cost?

:(

Hey dude - welcome to the forum :)

I just watn to comment on somthing you brought up.

Q: "would you purchase something just by looking at a picture especially a guitar of that cost"

A:
sure, i have purchase 3 EBMM instruments by only seeing pictures. Why? Why would I do this? Honestly b/c I trust the EBMM build quality/consistency and have a high regard for their Customer Service based upon personal experience. I KNOW that if I buy one of their products it has gone thru their quality control (which is super high) and on the off chance that i have a legitimate "issue" w/ a NEW EBMM instrument they WILL take care of me.

If you grab a new EBMM off the shelf it will play fantastic. Endorsed artists have told accounts of their gear being lost or stolen on the road and theyve grabbed new axes from a local shop and played those for the gig. No BS, true story. EBMM makes good stuff ...

Now, if something does go wrong that is a build or quality issue EBMM will fix it. A lot of us have been thru that process and had a great experience. Now, this topic is re: a complaint on the look of a neck's wood grain. This is not something EBMM guarantees. thats luck of the draw ... IF something was broken this dude would have a legit reason to be pissed.

... more or less this guy is saying "Hey Mr. CEO of BMW, I got a black M3 and its not helping me get chicks; I want the shiny blue one b/c that color would get me more ass". or something like that

Some people REALLY piss me off!!! I'll be honest here, I REALLY wanted to have some birdseye on my Silo neck. However I got NONE, and I did not give a flying ****, even paying a hefty sum of my HARD earned money. And like I said, I would pay even more if needed. I didnt even play a Silo when I ordered, NOR did I know what the Vintage Sunburst color looks like since in pictures it is very different. Guitar manufacturing is NOT like a freakin camera where some machine sh**s out the product and they are all the same. EVery guitar has it's unique characteristics, even if the same model.

Hey everyone,

Here's a pic of an Albert Lee neck that was rejected by a customer in Canada. Is this a nice neck? Consensus, please...

Beth i'm a huge fan of Birdseye necks and all mine sound great no more dead spots then Straight Maple, Although Many High end Guitar Builders will not use Birdseye on any of their necks for they swear the wood is too inconsistent.

Too each is Own but that's been my experience, I LOVE ALL THE BIRDSEYE YA WANNA BUILD
