they called it Butterscotch, but I'll get the proper details when it's in my hands and I run the plate number...

**Update - The official finish name is Trans Gold...

I caught him last night in Frome and took my Dad as he's been a fan of Alberts since the 70's - he was ON FIRE!

Two hours of solid playing, and time for a quick chat after the show with us. The show last night was professionally videoed, so that'll be released soon to buy.

His band is super tight, and they were all really enjoying themselves.

If you can catch him on this tour - I can't recommend it highly enough

...I now need to find an Albert Lee Pinkburst maple topped guitar (BFR?) now - I'd always been unsure of the shape in pictures, but in person it looks just right!

I saw Albert Lee and his new young band twice last week (Metzingen 3/17 and Kirchheim 3/19). Two great shows. I have to second what was already said: go and see them if you can!

Great gig - if I were to be picky I'd say that I'd prefer his son Wayne on keyboards and it was a shame that he wasn't there last night. A Welsh legend was there Andy Fairweather - Low - but didn't play - shame !!
. Albert loves telling the story of when Clapton (eventually) sacked him and he went on to play for the Everlys. A few cell phone pics of Albert signing my 2006 LEAL (again!) - this time I'm gonna lacquer in the sig!!
Even Albert commented on the fact that MM90's are no more and that he had one with two MM90's. I said that he should mention it to Sterling to put a 2 MM90 Albert into production. Great to see him - but like me - he's getting on guys so catch him whilst he's still touring.

great! thanks for sharing, Kevin

... oh and Banjoplayer - great photos - nice one - you ought to post them on Alberts site?
ah yes, have quite some good pics - where do you mean? Facebook?
Already posted some into the group "Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee Guitar Owners and Fans" - even the man himself commented my small story (had to sleep in my car - I couldn´t drive home because it was snowing and my car wasn´t able to make the way up the Swabian Alb)
