I did this to an older AL a while back, and about 2 and a half of the original holes were visible. I plugged the holes and they almost look like more birdseye now. It doesn't look too bad.

The Strat can only hope that someday it would sound like an Albert Lee model. :cool:

i'm really diggin my new one.......
i had to do a fret dressing on it. after living in delaware for about a week or so....it started fretting out up top . average relative humidity on new mexico is ALOT lower......
hope to post some pics when janice gets back from nashville w/ the dig. camera. i put a cream pickguard & pickup covers on it . really sets of the flame maple. :D

almost too pretty to play......

Jon, that really needs to be part of your signature.

Tommy, yah, it's a very under rated guitar huh. I love mine and I'm so glad that I hunted it down!!!!!
