I just got back home after a nine and a half hour drive - working away for a week.

I managed to get to see and meet Albert Lee on Easter Monday and he kindly signed the back of the headstock and gave me one of his picks.

I have photos of the gig and Albert looking at my guitar and chatting to me.

He was showing it to his bass player saying quote:" These guitars are set up so nice, and I love the 'burst!".

So now my AL has some of Alberts mojo in it !! ha !

That's great !

I was wondering when you were going to fill us in on the Albert Lee gig and such.

Very cool that he signed your AL and gave you a pick.

Can't wait to see the pictures. Ya see, stuff like this makes the wait for my AL a little easier........who am I kidding, this wait sucks jellied eels !!!!!

Enjoy the man's mojo !!!!

I have a sneaking suspicion you'll be calling your dealer come Monday afternoon! :D

Dang, I've got to wait until sometime near mid to late June. :(

Hey Pug / Norrin
My heart goes out to you - I was like a kid waiting for Santa when I had mine on order.
When I got mine it was over the Xmas / New Year period, and my dealer said that Strings & Things didn't know if the AL had left their building.
The good thing was that it had, and I got down to the shop in double speed when "Mr Delivery Driver" turned up.
I was a bit scathing in a comment I made about S & Things, but in hindsight I kinda over reacted. A tough time of the year probably operating with minimal staff-

SORRY Strings & Things !!!! :D

So guys enjoy the wait and start saving for another AL with the alternative pickup spec.
