Albert Lee SSS Pickup Route

How is the pickup route done on the Albert Lee SSS. I like P90s, so I am thinking about adding P90s later like the MM90, but I don't know if it has a pool route or is routed just for the (small) single coils.

Please help. I'm wanting to buy my first Music Man.

Welcome to the forum.

If you buy an SSS AL you would not be able to mount MM90's later on as the AL does not have a "pool routing".

You would be able to go the other way with the minimum of mods (I have been told) if you got an MM90 and wanted to change to SSS.
Here's a picture showing how my AL is routed for SSS.
