Yah I've been thinking about the pot change as well (250 to 500).

I had gotten this, pretty cool, it's solderless wiring.

EMG Pickups / SL20 Steve Lukather / Active / Pro Series / Guitar / Electric Guitar Pickups, Bass Guitar Pickups, Acoustic Guitar Pickups

The one thing I don't like is the battery terminal is pretty cheap, I prefer the ones that EBMM uses.

You should be able to figure out how to use the existing battery compartment on the silo with that setup.

Here's a pic of the molex connector I put onto the Al HH pickguard. For any guitars with a battery compartment, there is also a red wire for the third lead connection that is missing on my connector.

Oh did you remove the red wire? I know my Luke EMG stuff doesn't have a red wire.

Thanx for the picture. I've seen/used the Molex connectors before, nice stuff we use them here at work.

Since there isn't a battery compartment, no red wire to add or remove :)

Thanks Keith! The TV Jones Classics are just awesome! I wish EBMM made a guitar with these stock! I'd love an Axis with these pickups!
