bought three new pickgurads from Chandler for my BFR Al and they turned out really well..took about 2 1/2 weeks to get and they are very professionaly done,They have all options for silo,Axis,Albert,Luke JP...Etc.

I ordered white black white,Parchment Black Parchment, and BLK WHT BLK, all 3 ply and they retail for about $30 each.Anyway thought i would post this for others thinking of ordering custom made pickguards for MM EB.

here is the website Chandler Pickguards: Ordering

That's good to hear, though my experience with Chandler wasn't as positive. I ordered a replacement pg for my Ibanez Talman and the pickup routing wasn't done very well.. like the straight edges are routed at a 75-degree angle and the corners are 90-degrees. Oh well, as they say, your mileage may vary...

How did you wire the pickup ?
Remove the silent circuit?
Change out anything else?

Cool, Park! How do you like the new pickup in the hardtail?

Sounds great i had to really concentrate on the height due to its high output, but after a couple tweaks it complimented the middle and neck perfectly.
Actually i wanted to post either a sound clip or vid clip but there's no section on the site for that.

Almost put the Parchment pickguard on instead of the black as the cream color looked nice too with the red or pink quilt of the guitar as well.

I looked up a post i made about a year ago when i asked how to do this and very same pickup switch and used the advice from Beej and others.Basically just unhooked the bridge and grounded the wire to the volume pot and hooked up the hot wire to the switch....so i still have the silent circut working for neak and middle but not for the humbucker which does not need the the silent circut anyway.

Sure turned around the type of music i can play with the BFR i was able to play Satch stuff and heavy rock. But the other BFR with tremelo will renain stock for blues and all clean work.

thanks for asking.
