First off, I have a very acidic body chemistry; I only have that new string feel for the first time I play the new strings.
I got a packet of the Wonder Wipes String Cleaner and holy moly! I'm hooked. They rejuvenated my strings! I cleaned the strings on my 2 electrics and 2 acoustics with one packet. One of the electrics was played once (heavily) after restringing, and the strings were already crusty. I cleaned them and they felt like new strings again!
Just thought I'd share. Anyone else use them yet? If not, you should!
