Well, I just put my first set of standard 10 gauge Slinkys on my SBMM Silo30 and it is a match made in heaven! There are going to be some serious tones blasting out of this room today!!!

And, thanks to a tip from Pat Park I think I solved my tuning issues! A few of the tuning peg nuts needed some tightening.

Thats good to hear! I think 10s really make a guitar come to life and the tone is more pronounced. I can't go back to 9s no matter what.

Glad that made your day:D Everyone has there favorites, I prefer 9's just had my roasted JP restrung and set up by a pro with coated 9's, now just fing awesome.

Oh and BTW while in GC having the set up done, they still had the Silo30 at the incredible low price and since they had one left I took it home with me, between the low price and a store credit, it was a killer deal for me!

Nice black & maple just what the doc ordered!:D:cool:

Fing you're amazing :D. I think you'll enjoy your Silo for the $$. I paid that great price and I'm loving it.

To think I was gonna blast away on it today and a little thing called life got in the way. Just too busy to play today (so far - at my folks for dinner). Maybe I'll get some time when I get home - albeit with headphones.
