All Rosewood Axis - how rare are these?

Does anyone know how many all rosewood Axis were made? Are they "rare"?
Mine's a 2005 model with Floyd Rose BTW

Es, they (EBMM) doesn't usually provide production numbers for instruments. With that being said, the RW Axis isn't rare per say, there are out there used and I would imagine that there are some still NOS, but you'd need to hunt around the web. Personally this version never appealed to me, but others that own them love them.

This is my first, and so far only EBMM, but I'm very happy with it. I bought it recently as "almost NOS" - it was probably the only one on the market in Germany. I paid a lot for it, but EBs are very expensive here!

Es, congrats and welcome. We have a few members from Germany, I'm sure they'll chime in. Some of them know where all the EBMM's are and if there are deals, if your looking in the future.

Joe (Joe Web, username) used to have a rosewood Axis (or ASS) , not sure he still has one. He's from germany too. Haven't seen one here in Holland btw. Pretty 'rare' over here. Edit: ALL special edition Music Men are rare over here haha

Back on subject- very nice all rosewood axis Nuge! I always liked the all rosewood Axis and Axis Super Sport, was a hardtail super sport in the for sale thread I would have loved to grab but never was able to raise the cash

Some people thought they looked like old peoples coffee tables but I 100% disagree beautiful works of art!

While not rare since it was a production guitar before being discontinued bet not that many made and even fewer in Europe but just guessing on my part.

Enjoy and well GAS will get you at some point

Thank you, Mario. Yes, Eric got the Axis and Noah got the Big Al. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful sons...they deserved a nice gift.

Eric plays mellow clean music, like the Beatles. No distortion ever. Yeah, I'm very supportive of their music. I started them very young, so it wasn't really an option for them.

My all rosewood ASS is the BEST sounding electric I have ever owned and it is bone stock except for the custom paint. This guitar was named "Bundy" by my bassist as he thought it looked like 70's panneling. The guitar sounds amazing and has a very particular mojo I have not found in another guitar including some ebmm's. Just a fantastic instrument and my #1 constant companion. I live out west here in Denver hence the "Lead Slinger" theme....went for a wood burning look.

Once in a while these guitars show up at ebay.de. I have one too, her nickname is Bret . it´s an amazing guitar, but she don´t get the attention that she deserves, due to the fact that i like my silu and my Al better at the moment. Great guitar for hard rock.

I have a Rosewood body,neck,fret board hard tale supersport, I hardly use the guitar at all and have often put it on the market for sale, but no takers. However the sustain and tone is so much sharper than my standard axis supersport that when ever I record I use the Rosewood body guitar, you CAN NOT beat it.

Here's another proud rosewood Axis owner...I loved that guitar since the very first time I met her....mine is also dated in 2005 and I bought it in San Diego but I'm from Spain.

I've never seen nothing wierd or strange in this guitar (do not understand that CoffeTable comparison )...I simply felt in love with the touch of that brown neck and the seriousness of her look...
