I put a Seymour Duncan Hotrails in the neck position and an Harry Häussel Tozz in the bridge. The Tozz sounds awesome and gives you a really great Hard Rock and Metal Sound. It even sounds great with clean Sound. Unfortunately I'm not satisfied with the neck Pickup. It sounds really great with Overdrive and Distortion, but it sounds way too dark when you just wanna pick a few clean chords. I guess I will put a Häussel Pickup in the neck too.

Yeah, I'm no fan of the Hot Rails either. I dropped a Dimarzio Cruiser into the neck of one of my guitars recently, and absolutely love it.

I also considered a Cruiser for the neck. Can you tell me how it sounds? I heard its very singlecoil alike. I'm searching for something that combines the best of both Humbucker and Singlecoil.

I don't think it will sound like a hum, hard to say how it sounds..very woody, plumby....not bright at all but the top end rings beautifully. I don't know if you are familiar with Richie Kotzen, but he has a cruiser in the neck of his Tele. May be worth a listen. Check out dimarzio.com...there's sound samples on there I think.
