Lets get a fun thread going!
Pretty simple, rank your personal alltime favorite colors.
I have always kind of had a list in my head and just was curious if others favor the classics like Axis Amber, JP Pearl Redburst or even black & white to the rarities like pink quilt tops and Stratus Blue.
So rank however you like, here is my top 10 in order. The only exception I put into my list was that I didn't count natural wood since it's not a 'color' and because a Rosewood ASS and Koa 20th would mess up my list
10.Dargie Green- It's more the theme for this guitar, I mean admit it w/o the inlays it wouldn't be the anywhere the same guitar
9.Radiance Red- This and the ruby burst are maybe the only red guitars I love
8.BFR Ruby Burst-^^
7.Pacific Blue Burst- It wins over Bahama, I don't know why but I think this just captures the ocean feel more
6.Las Vegas Gold- Come on I need this color on a Silo Special *cough* Le 08**
5.Autumn Redrise- This was a genious color and it still makes my jaw drop *cough* Le 09**
4.BFR Blackburst - EBMM did such a good job on the black figured top...just go look at any other companies black flamed guitar and it looks like sh*t next to a BFR
3.Egyptian Smoke- I am searching high and low for a used lefty Luke or Silo in this color, no luck yet. But who would want to give it up!
2.Mystic Dream I envy all you JP users 'nough said
1.Purple Sunset Ok I get confused with all the SM color names, but it is the most popular Y2d color. This is the perfect burst IMO, I think anybody who has that color should treasure it cause there is nothing like it!!
