WRONG, Blue Dawn and Burnt Apple are sparkle finishes. Here is a listing from when the Axis Sport was offered. Autum Redrise was also a sparkle finish.

oh man, that is one great post Glenn. Imagine going to order an AL and being faced with those sparkle options, i'd have to sell my house!!!!!!!! seriously, i cant believe i wasnt a ball fan back in 2001, i would have every sparkle finish by now. its very odd to me that they didnt sell well, maybe one day sparkles will rule.

just look at the freakin sparkle options?!?!?!??!?!?!??! Glacier Blue, midnight blue, Gold sparkle, silver sparkle........ i need to lie down.

I came in at the tail end of the sparkles and I'm lucky enough to have 3 now. Where as I had 5 at 1 time.

Yup...I'd pretty much take any colour but Medallion Gold or any variation of Sunburst.

Yup, #1 was only made for Dweezil Zappa's HH AL. It's kind of a Baby Blue Sparkle, I love the color myself.

It's how the back of the 10 GC exclusive BFR Lukes are finished. I'm not sure what it's called, but it kicks ass. It's sort of a black/blue-green sparkle.
