No need for luck here friend, you're just 8 yrs too late!! However, better late than never.

Just a note: Nothin' beats a fresh set of EB "Classic Rock" pure nickel Super Slinky's - nothin'' (well, maybe just a couple things).

Now have some "real" fun playin'!!:)

I played D'Addario for at least 6 years.. so I know what you mean. But, the sound.. oh man, it's so goooood.

I've bought my very first set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys today. I've played D'addario for 8 years, so this is uncharted territory. Wish me luck!

You bought them or 5 finger discounted them off the rack.:p:p:p I believe we had the string discussion last week and now you've changed? Interesting.;)

I switched after 20 years of D'Addario....to be totally honest, the main reason I switched is that I love the guitars, and I'd much rather be supporting a company that's run the way EB is.
Rock on.
