Alternate Tunings and String Number

FWIW I am old. I tried the alternate tunings. Hated every minute of it. Got the SR 5 don't have to think so much I can just play now. Having the right tool for the job equals far more than making do with one that won't as it is always a compromise.

Really sounded more like you could use 6 or 7 strings.

lol. maybe. Les Claypool's rainbow bass is starting sound appealing to me. its a Carl Tompson(sp?) 6 string fretless. that would be crazy, huh?
