Am I crazy?

For some reason I seem to recall that EB strings are or used to be "pre-stretched". In fact I could swear I remember seeing that right on the packaging. Am I nuts or did this really happen? And if so, has it stopped. I know that it's not on the package anymore, but are they still "pre-stretched", or has that been stopped, and if it's been stopped when and why did that happen?
Please help settle this little mental dilemma.

Do you mean "No String" as in every EB string or EVERY String reguardless of brand?
