The action is not low at all!! He let me play on the stingray sometimes so that I understand the tone comes from his technique and not the instrument.
And he plucks the strings so hard while still being in total control... Never cease to amaze me.

I was very lucky cause he is not officially teaching anymore. He got tired of kids that wouldn't practice and take their bass out only for lessons. He first told me he'd see my level and find me a teacher but since we came along very well I ended up being his one and only student

He might show up on the forum very soon. The ball family is growing
