Hey guys my power amp on my peavey ultra plus makes my peavey preamp and mesa preamp sound dark and punchless one way to get by this is putting an eq in the effects loop (much like a mesa graphic eq). My question is does anyone have experience with this and should I put this before or after the effects in the loop. I have a g system so it more than likely have to go after the output of the gsystem and before the return of the amp. Anybody have any other ideas regarding eq placement in loop.

Hello guy ! You should put your EQ in the effect loop yes, and I think it's better if the EQ is between the effect sent on your amp and the input of your G-system. By doing this, your sound will be clearer before being treat by the effect processor, so you'll have a lot more purity.
