i know by asking this im gonna look like a total nooblar. i have a 200 watt bass cab and was wondering if i could use a 350 watt ampeg to power it, or if it would kill my cab. again, total noob question, but since i have never had experiance with bass heads and such, i guess i am in a noob in that since.

It's actually better to have more power on the amp than what the speakers can handle continuously. If the situation were reversed, you'd be overworking the amp.

The main danger you face with your setup is if you clip at high volume. So just keep the volume away from 11 as mentioned and you'll be okay. (And watch your gain structure to prevent clipping.)
