amp Selector to change amps

hey guys, OFF TOPIC.

I'm having one heck of a hard time finding things, i have tried google well not much help, even guitar center & ms, ok ill get to what i have to say:rolleyes:

im looking for a switch so i can switch amps so i can have one playing a loop and the other for me playing over it....... the only problem i have if i use my loop station is that i can only use clean channel, very stressful if i cant do more.

so anyone have any info on where i can get an amp changer?

Thanks!

this bellow im not having a hard time finding really, but i would like some suggestions on some really good stuff.

also im looking into some stuff that i need for recording on my computer and play my guitar though it too instead of having my amp on where i cant play at night since family goes to bed, any good suggestions? oh im on medium budget so i would like something maybe cheap but good :) thanks

If you mean an A/B/Y switch, there's plenty of them on the market. I have a Morely, which works ok, but the switching could be better and more silent. Not sure if this is what you're asking though.

Not sure if I understood you correctly, so I may be completely wrong on this one, but I'm not sure if you really need either a switcher or a multiple amp setup. You run the Loop Station in front of the amp, and when you're playing over a loop with distortion the tone gets muddied down, right?

Place the Loop Station in the effects loop of your amp. Now it'll sound like two separate guitars; like it basically would with two separate amps, only with the same tone.

amp selector is the word i was looking for..... "Octavarius" it dont get muddy at all, im having a clean tone for the backing and a high gain for jamming along.

i have two amps so what im gona do is hook em up and have the loop station assigned to one of them while i play on the other.

and i dont want to spend much on it since all need is one that just simple and cheap.

I don't see the problem or need for a switcher. I also sometimes use two amps. One that I run clean for a ZOOM bass/drums groove, and another for guitar with gain and effects.

right now im actually looking at this one here Buy Morley Quad Box Guitar and Amp Switcher online at Musician's Friend

arrrg sorry x but i clearly posted that when i play over a clean backing that i recorded into my "Boss loop station" when i use a high gain for lead playing over it, it 100% cuts out the backing until i stop playing, now there's a problem i need to fix or im gona hook up both my amps with a selector.
