Amp Troubles - Need Help

I think I burned out my speaker outputs . . .

I have a Hartke 2000 bass head (200W @ 8 ohms)

I ran one output to a Hartke 1x15 cab rated 300W @ 8 0hms

the other went to a Hartke 2x10 cab rated @ 4 ohms

The amp blew a fuse and has been dead ever since.

Now, the 1x15 cab has a parallel out, could I run out of that into my 2x10 and get around the problem I had coming out of both speaker outputs?

im not 100% sure about how your hartke is set up. but im pretty sure if you keep running it like that its never gonna work. what you have is a mismatched impendance load. i thinks its about 2.67 or something like that. that is a no no. big no no. there is a possibility you fried your power amp from that. now if you only did it for one show or practice or somethng it should be ok. but if youve been doing it like that for any amount of time more than like 2 hours your asking for touble. m not sure exactly what happened but i doubt its good. my suggestion is get rid of the 2x10 and get a 8 ohm version(that along with your 8 ohm 15 will be a nice 4 ohm load, your amp will love it), or get rid of the 15 and get a 4 ohm model(that with your 4 ohm 210 will make a 2 ohm load. i dont know if your amp will go that low, but at least its not mismatched), or you could use one or the other. either way dont use both at the same time.

Well, I had been using a back-up hartke head which
is 140 Watts @ 4 Ohms with the two speakers
Running out of the head, into the 1X15, and from that cab to the 150 Watt 4 ohm 2x10. There were no problems there, guess I could stick with that.

i dont think thats a very good idea either. its the ohmage. you have a 4 ohm and an 8 ohm. they dont mix very well together. since you say you have another amp, my new suggestion is to run the 2000 into the 15 and use the other head to power the 210. you would have to run a pre amp out or a slave out into the input of the other head, but it would be the best way to go. also you would have more volume becuase of the higher power for each cab.
