I don't have a still pic of my rig but perhaps this vid will do?

It's a little long so if you just want to hear sounds, forward to about 4:30. The guitar is my BBB BFR JP... her public debut.

Funny you posted this - I was just looking at photos of my Axis SS and Hughes & Kettner amps. The Pacific Blue Burst matches the H&K lights in a cool way. I'll use a Triamp MkII into a Marshall 1960BV or a Duotone combo, depending on the room.

Here's some pics:

Oh I really need that guitar. Couldn't play it being a lefty but man I could look at it all day. I play my balls with an MB Electra Dyne 1x12 combo.

I am curently playing through a Marshall Halfstack but I'm saving up for a Mesa/Boogie MkIV/V. I still haven't tried the MkV but it sounds beastly :)

But asking other what they play through is half of it, go out there and find a reasonably big guitar store such as guitar center, and try out the amps there. That ensures that you will absolutely love the amp/company.

Good Luck,
Vb

The main benefit of staying in the highlands is nobody can hear you suck!
Few practice amps....

Class 5 Combo
Blackheart Little Giant, with my own mods
Sovtek Mig-50 -first series, handwired
Marshall DSL50 stock
Marshall1960a cab
Marshall 8412 cab

Amps and Balls?

Not sure where the pics are right now, but for live playin' I've enjoyed runnin' my Super Sports thru:

Dr Z SRZ65 into Z-best 212 cab (V30 and H30 speakers)
Dr Z Remedy into Z-best 212 cab; also works nice with 112 and 210 cabs
Dr Z Galaxie 112 combo G12-65 speaker

For practice/casual jams, I've had good results using a Z-28 and Carmen Ghia thru either 112 or 210 cabs.

In terms of pedals to go along with any of the above? Flying Dragon and/or Draconis along with a BB Preamp and CMAT Deeelay. :)

cheers always, eh

Joel
p.s. yes ... I do have a slight Z addiction

Mike... just amazing. The Axis, the colours, the wood, the leather. Just a great pic.

Thank you sir!. I rarely get good pix, that is one of two that I am happy with. Below is the other.

BTW - in the background is a circa 1936 Stromberg Carlson radio. I used to collect and restore old radios, been dormant for 10 years or so, but do have several very good sets...
