Texas Finally!
Wish I had a cool amp like the rest of you guys.

I still only have my 1987 (bought by me in 1987) Roland JC-120. However, I'm in love with it all over again now that I picked up this Line 6 M9 thingy.

I also run it with a Boss GT-8 or a Line 6 X3 Live depending on my mood...

For quiet practicing I use my Pandora PX4D or my Scholz Rockman X100. I keep hoping my Rockman will be worth something someday.

Mike

Mike,

Since this has been resurrected and I missed it the first time you have a Scholz Rockman?? Cool would love to play with that.

But am seriously tempted by a blackstar combo for home, hate using the mesa at home, these amps never sound so good turned down! Have had a line 6 spider for home for years and has been awesome little thing!!!!

Finally picked up something that sounds great at a decent price. I was initially going to get an HT-5, but I wanted a better clean channel so here is the HT-20 with a 3/4 open Mesa 1x12. The reverb on the amp is decent...but I will probably get a Hardwire reverb pedal. All I got is the DD3 in the loop and the BB Preamp. Simple and glorious tone for a apartment, and sounds pretty good at low volumes. I think it beats the crap out of the Rebel 20 and 30 that I tried as well for almost half the price! I will be expanding the pedals though and make an actual board haha. On my list is Suhr Riot, MXR Carbon Copy, Hardwire Reverb, some kind of chorus, compression pedal...and so on haha.

I sold My Marshall...... After 2 years I need a change.
Right now I'm using a Hot Rod Deluxe with Grangers Mod and a warehouse reaper 50 watt speaker. This is quite the amp now... Plus, it sounds great thru my 4X12 cab at 4 ohms.
I'm patiently waiting for a deal to come up on a PT100 or PT50 which will obviously replace the Marshall.

Early 70's silverface Fender Princeton- otherwise, a Silvertone 1484 head though an ibanez 212 cabinet. With- bear with me here- an old Electro Harmonix volume pedal, Vox wah, MXR Dyna Comp, Boss Turbo Overdrive, Ibanez Tubescreamer, Danelectro transparent overdrive, custom made overdrive, cheap-o phaser, Danelectro tremolo, old Ibanez delay champ analog delay, Danelectro Dan-Echo delay, Digitech something or other programmed for super long delays. Something like that...

Okay Coop... Good Luck with that. But then I suppose you really want a PT100. or, are you just being arrogant?

Main set up-Pod 2.0 into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60
Home-Tech 21 Trademark 10 (killer little amp btw)

A little surprised to see how many people use the Power Engine 60 and often in higher end rigs. Pretty cool. I love mine

For practicing at low volumes when the kids are asleep, I use a PODxt through a Fender solid state amp. For recording and practice at louder volumes I have a Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo from the last year of production.

What? I don't know if this was a jab or a joke...

Gee, That's odd, I was wondering the same thing about your post. Some of the **** that goes on in here really makes me wonder if owning a Music Man stereo types me as much as it does most of you......... Read some of the forums out there. The general opinion isn't all that great and frankly I'm sick of it too. This post will give you all reason to blow smoke up one another asses. Have fun Knuckeheads!

I was responding to the "what kind of amp do you play?" question. jesus. I really have no idea how what I wrote could have been taken as arrogant or a joke. I like old amps. I like pedals. what the hell?

however, if the "opinions" that you've seen on other forums about EB owners had anything to do with perceived "gear snobbery," then your reaction to my post merely reinforces those opinions. but i'm not kidding. 2 funky old amps and lots of pedals.

I'm really liking the HT5 at the moment... i don't own it but i would really like to pick one up soon. it's really a go getter and see it as being very helpful for practicing at home with great tone- and their pricepoint is spot on.

I use a Fender HRD when I'm playing with the band. Most of the time I'm playing through a Roland Cube 20X when I'm home. I often wish I had purchased the Fender Blues Jr. rather than the Roland though.
