Lenny, what Fender amp is that silverface there? What a cool amp! and what is that head next to it? wow....

And Coop, love it that you play a 70's Silverface Princeton Reverb. They're great! I have a 78 PR and love the way it sounds with a 10" Eminence Legend.

For now I'm playing a Princeton Reverb clone head that I built myself, including the cabinet. I used a Doug Hoffman turret board that was designed by another Hoffman forum member. I love bias vary tremolo as opposed to the led/ldr types, it's so much smoother and creamier. I run the head into a 2x12 cabinet and the speakers are a Weber 12F150 and a Carvin GS12-75-8 that was made for Carvin by Celestion some years ago. I used to use lots of different pedals, mostly Boss, Ibanez and EH, but now I just use a few settings on a Digitech RP250. I use a Weber mini-mass to get a little cranked sound out of my amps from time to time. I'm using JJ and EH 6V6s and EH 12AXs in most all my amps. I also have a Deluxe Reverb that I built that is collecting dust. I'm also feeling the need to build some more Single Ended small amps like a modified Champ with 6L6/EL34/KT66 capability or something similar, a class A cathode biased rig. As well, a Trainwreck circuit is a possiblilty down the road. I recently saw Brad Paisley playing a Trainwreck and was really really impressed with the sound.

Hey Jammim Sweet amps...the silver face is 1977 70watt Super Reverb with the master Volume push pull...and the Blonde is an Original 1961 8ohm Fender bandmaster ...the cab originally had the 1 x15 ...but the last owner changed it to a 2x12...both sound sweet as sugar

Awesome amps Lenny! I thought that was a Bandmaster head and they are great. I read that some folks like converting them to Vibrolux/Vibroverb circuits. Here's a pic of the last 65 Deluxe Reverb chassis I built. I should have used a Hoffman turret board with the bias vary trem, but alas, that'll have to be the in the next one. (everyone please forgive me for subjecting your eyes to my ridiculous old amp cradle)

Me too man.... I just realized that I didn't see that your amp info was right there in your signature (hanging head really low, embarrased) I got to pay better attention. What is that amp sitting on the case on the left?


here's an AB763 turret board that could live in that Bandmaster Reverb or a Deluxe Reverb or a Vibrolux R. or ............etc etc...
what's cool about these turret boards, aside from the bias vary tremolo, is that the power tube bias circuit is on the board too...

its a tweaked out 2002 Fender LTD maple cab dovetail jointed done in tobacco burst lacquer,with a Jensen C12N and a Fromel mod kit and biased to 22watts ala the 6V6 jj's instead of the usual 40watts and 6L6's...they made 250 of these world wide ...125 of the burst and 125 of the clear maple

Now the biggest question I have is why in the hell is your rig set up in an electrical room with motor starters etc.??

Take that much voltage and wattage

Haahaa, no man, it just happen to be set up in front of the electrical gear at the warehouse. It is a mucho rig for sure, my pride and joy!! Pretty simple set up really, 2 amps, fx processor, switcher and ground control. Just as easy as a amp head cabinet w/ boxes set up, if not easier. The rack is heavy though, but it rolls real nice..
