Ok, so my last thread went way south.

So :

* to any that were offended by it, I'm sorry.
* to those who PM'ed to show support after thread closure, thanks.

Dizz...if you knew it was borderline and in fact it ended up offending some then just say two word...."Im sorry"

DONE ! :)

If you dont like the response when you poke a tigress....suck it up.....

Tigers are bigger.
and this Tiger can suck it up - but I can also back it up.

I understand you and like you so take this respectfully and just plain direct talk.

The feeling is very mutual BP, we've had some great laughs.
I'll take direct talk from down-to-earth people any time - and I'll reply with equally direct talk.

I will address the communication issue because this is a big problem here. Because Beth or any employee chooses to come here one their off hours is a plus for all. To question their time on their own time is not appropriate. Saying that because she read the email and then typed a response when you offended her that she has an obligation to respond. That is just plain entitlement.

I never questioned time, just used it to defend myself & highlight the innappropriateness of Beth bringing a CS email into a public forum - and that needed to be done.

Can we all agree that every ball innuendo has been spoken and instead of putting asterisks in fender that we decide to leave the beat to death ball jokes away for good.

No problem.

Can we start innuendo on Johnsons ??
** ducking for cover **

:D:D:D

(Beth, you're a nice lady - I hope we can still be cyber-friends, even if we have some differences ;))

To finish, let's start the day with a nice new pic :

(you have no idea how many innappropriate pics I had to filter through after doing an image search for BAMBI :D)

Dizzy,

Just to be clear, you didn't offend me in any way with the thread, but I also have to consider other sensibilities.

I hate closing threads or deleting stuff (ask BP) and all that; I'd rather just say something wise-ass and move on!

Thanks, Dizz. I'm sorry for referring to your private customer service e-mail on the forum. That was wrong.

I hope we all can move on and have fun while remaining respectful to one another.

All the best,
Beth :)

I want more boo....I mean Silhouettes are underrated...
the great part is that we can have differences and then hold hands and roast marshmellows afterwards!

You are all my children........

I'm glad to hear that Sterling is officially annoyed by putting asterisks in other brands like "Fender" or "Gibson", like it's a dirty word somehow. The way I see it Music Man is really the true continuation of Leo Fender's original vision. In his day, Leo was the master of creating instruments that were innovative, that sounded and played as well as or better than anything else out there, that were practical and rugged, and that represented a great value by using quality materials and impeccable design without an excess of pomp and flair. Sound like any modern company you know?

All I'm saying is, regardless of the corporate entities which now represent the current state of certain iconic guitar companies, those companies have a great heritage, and EBMM's products all basically follow the Fender design model (without being slavish recreations of well-treaded past designs).

Do we really get marshmallows BP, do we, do we? ;)

BP thinking of us as his children makes me smile. :D

And as stupid as this probably sounds...I always did the asterik thing because I was always afraid if I used the name Fender, Ibanez, or Gibson that I'd get flamed for it. So I guess it was me putting up my "anti-flame suit" if you will.

i can honestly say until I read this thread I thought other brand names were filtered like profanity through the forum. (like the user would type Gibson and it would be filtered and show up as G****n...silly me

I really like this forum! We see a lot of people here who are gathered by the same thing - because everyone of us loves music, plays music and uses EBMM guitars/basses to make our dreams come true!! I think it's really great in these days. Big Poppa said that we are his children...what else can we say then we are kinda family now :) I'm really happy with that!

cheers,
Mike
