Took delivery of this baby on friday last week. I've been grinning ear to ear ever since!

I couldn't BELIEVE the variety of sounds you can get from the selector switch. I still can't decide which setting I prefer. I think I will end up using them all.

Everyone who commented on the sound of the HH Ray was just SO right! I may not have custom ordered this one, but Blue Pearl is just beyond words! Who needs "sparkle" when you can still order colours like this!

Sorry, but I just had to share the love!

That one sure is pretty enough to brag about for a long time to come.

Congrats.

Tasty, but not as nice as mine ;)

(Hubby has just said that surely he HAS to be in the running for Hubby of the Year 2006 award after letting me buy that).

Seriously though, very very nice - I'm so pleased that everything has worked out for you! :D

Azzy your hubby would be better off going for hubby of the year 2007. Not enough months left in 06 for you to be gracious in. :)

Nice catch, Dave! Must have been hard keeping it a secret for a whole week?

But weren't you supposed to get a fiver?

True, true, I was looking at a 5er, but I wanted to be sure I could definitely get on with my next purchase, and this HH came up (the 5er was an H) so I couldn't resist really. I'm just not 100% sure I would get on with a 5er, I think I'll have to live with one for a while and find out. Perhaps my NEXT one will be a 5er (Bongo)?

For now I'll stick with the 4 stringers. I think I see some Abalone in this baby's future.

Cheers Azzy, I'm really pleased everything has worked out for both of us! I'm not sure about your hubby's award, but my girlfriend is DEFINITELY up for GF of the Year 2006! I see an engagement ring in her near-ish future (and NOT just because she let's me occasionally run wild with bass purchases). :)

Thankfully I promised the ownership of 3 basses would be TEMPORARY, and it has all worked out. I love it when a plan comes together!
:D
