Rosewood Axis SS w/90's and piezo. :D :D

It seems to have been a trend here recently to agonize over the Rosewood Axis vs the Y2D. Although they are different beasts I notice several others haveing the same dilemma.

So I went Rosewood. Sent a couple of e-mails to Pete last night and dropped a check in the mail this morning - Yes Pete, the check is in the mail...

I guess deep down I really like the MM90's and wanted the piezo. Plus, if I ever ding it up, I'm sure my mother has some old panelling left in the basement I can patch it up with ;) .

And now the wait begins...................

Nice choice, Mike, congrats!

When you get that bad boy you should really stop by and do some jamming with me.

Mike, I'll be placing the order with EB at approximately 11:15

Ern,
I'm going to run out of room for all the "Store Stock" guitars soon.... wanna come up here and take some home? I'll tell Ed "some guy with a NY accent came in here, beat me up, and took all the JPs" He'll have no clue who :D

Hey Mike,
Congrats on the purchase! Tough choice, but with the reasons given, MM90's, piezo, there was only one way to go.

I loved playing that thing at the open house myself. I fell in love with that neck.

But do I really get to beat you up? For the plan to really work, we would have to make it look good. :D

I'm starting to wonder if maybe sometime soon EB will put that rosewood neck on the maple top ash and basswood ASS.

Anyone hear anything?

Good luck with the guitar Mike. In stock or waiting?

Thanks guys

Keith - I'm waiting but I guess I owe it all to you and DaveB. Since I was second in line for your T-burst w/piezo and Dave walked away from the OH with 3 guitars I had to get something new.

I was really impressed by BP's open house axis with the 90's (which I later found out was actually a Koa top w/rosewood neck) but that was also influential in the final decision.

Now I just need to increase my playing abililty to guitar quality ratio  .

Plus I just ordered my first actual tube amp which should be delivered today. (I had solid state back in the day and only a practice amp since my re-entry into playing) Traynor YCV40WR. Anyone interested in a tech21 trademark 10?

If this happens, can i put an order in with you. :)

Plus if all these guys are looking to get your instruments by force, let me know if I can work off some of the balance with bodyguard work - I think I can take Keith :D

Oh yeah....

Mr Greene, I have not played an EB with MM90s, I will make sure to give your guitar a through QC once it arrives :D

Not a problem Mr. D, as long as you are gentle with her and she doesn't get passed around like a drunken sorority chick with your buddies in the beer wagon  ;)
