I left work early yesterday so I could crack open the box and find this . . . .

Silo Special HSS with trem in Carbon Blue Pearl. My first non-humbuker, non-Axis EBMM. I played it this morning, and I am blown away by how good this guitar feels and plays. The trem is rock solid . . really great system. And the pickup combo is really well balanced. Position two is great. Almost the Clapton "woman tone" just by flicking the switch. The other kicker was, I didn't have a 9V battery in for the silent circuit . . . . it sounded great without it!!!

thanks guys . .

I got it from a newish forum member danyeo. He told me had a tech do a setup on it. I think the guy might have been more used to F***ders. I'll tell ya, the tuning was all over the place!!!! :D

Even though the E-G strings are wound on the tuners backwards, it still stays in tune very well. maybe a little wavering, but pretty solid.

I'll post some family pics in a while. I've got a guitar to restring.

I hit it with a wonder wipes fretboard conditioner wipe before I took the pics. I'm going to do a more thorough cleaning when I change my strings.

Now if I could just leave work . . . . . .
