That looks mighty familiar.

In fact, I changed the pg on mine out to....ta-dah! White Pearloid a few months ago.

So what can I say? Very nice looking bass, amigo.

Yeah, I said the same thing a little over a month ago after I got the "Pumpkin Ray," but alas I'm now plotting the hostile takeover of a Blue Dawn ray that just popped into my local GC. Of course, my wife has not received news of my plot yet, so it may killed at any second

I think I will be holding steady at four.

In my present situation (retired), I can't wheel and deal like I did a year ago. If I want a bass, I have to sell something, or sometimes TWO somethings. For example, I sold a Reverend 5L and a Stingray in order to afford the Green Bongo currently on order.

So what's left besides Bongos?

A Custom Shop 1964 NOS Jazz. I can't see getting rid of this. It's just....perfect.

A beautiful Stingray 5 in natural with rosewood board. I haven't yet bonded with it, but that's only because I've been busy with other things. I set it up and it's a really good Stingray 5.

A Brad Houser Reverend in Lava Swirl. Too weird to sell!

A Fender 62 RI Jazz. Valentines Day present from wife, so non-negotiable.

Anyone who wants to own more Bongos - more power to you! Even with some other nice basses around, the Bongos are really all I play anymore.

I was thinking about swapping the white ice to my Candy Red and possibly putting a tort on the Desert Gold .

Nice looking bass. How exactly are you planning on having a 4 string white ice pickguard fit on a 5 string Bongo, though?
