Great AL's John, our Pinkbursts are awesome. I forget if you've mentioned it already, but how come yours has locking tuners? MIne is newer and has normal tuners. I'm guessing they were put on later on yours.

I think those two guitars pretty much represent the AL in all its glory. You could not have picked two better color / pickup combos. Well Done. Color me jealous!

I believe that the original owner sent it back to EB for the installation of the compensated nut, and locking tuners, but that was long before I got my mitts on it. Actually, the fact that it was updated was a concern for me, but once I played it, the modifications didn't seem to matter quite so much....

i didnt think EB installed comp nuts afterwards, especially 14 years after? looks like they gave it a whole new neck, i wonder how you could find out?
