thank you very much man. we do have the same guitar, haha, and what a fine axe it is!

I used a v-amp 2 to record that, and my JP has a D-Sonic in the bridge. I only installed the D-Sonic on Tuesday and I do personally prefer it to the SS!

Very nice, I love it!

I'll be tackling that one after Glasgow Kiss! Hopefully by then I too will have my Graphite Pearl JP6! :)

Random, that is some very nice playing man. Where did you get the transcription from by the way, as I want to learn this piece after a few I am working on now.

Scarifi3d, how is Glasgow Kiss coming along? It's a pretty tough piece. That one is also on my list of learning the whole thing, and I already know the beginning.

It's all over the place. PM me your email and I'll send you the one I have. It's a good one. I've seen some that were way off for this piece.

So far I'm up to the fast tapping part in the solo, I been practicing that for a few days now. It's a very fun song to play. I'd like to learn "Wishful Thinking" as well, however, since there is no tab for it and my aural skills are a bit lacking I'll have to wait for that one.

thanks alot guys. You'll love your Graphite Pearl JP6 Scarifi3d, it's a great color.

I played Glasgow Kiss at a show at Christmas time, so I might actually make a clip of that... Wishful Thinking is another great one too. So many harmonies!

I can't hardly wait for it! :) I was leaning towards white but at the last second I realized Graphite Pearl was just too awesome to pass up! Yeah, I'd love to hear a clip for Glasgow Kiss as well! Once I get this one and my other project (Erotomania :( ) done I'll post some clips too!

I used to have a White Sparkle JP6, but I much prefer my GP.

I look forward to hearing your clips man! :)

hey random hero, do you have your drop sonic in backwards, like petrucci's? the tone chart on dimarzio says it has less highend...does it sound less bright then the steve's special? im looking for something with alot more mids, and less bass then the steve's special...im think the drop sonic might be good.

hey there. Yeh, I do have my D-Sonic in backwards, like JP. It definately has more mids, and a tighter low end.

Go for it, I certainly don't regret it!

also, if you install it backwards ala JP...do you have to swap the hot/ground leads? i guess its no longer wire-to-wire the same as the Steves Special, if you swap it. hmm...

EDIT: just bought an f-spaced Drop Sonic, should be here within a few days.

expect a PM or two about installing it, Random Hero hehe.
