well the first thread was posted in this section, I guess I should have used the search button and posted in that one. I agree that the Cat Stevens song sucks, and not as legitmate as the Satch lawsuit. I am a fan of Coldplay,sometimes, I have even seen them live, but I would be the first to say they are unoriginal, they even admit to that, sometimes they just take their unoriginality toooo far.

I love most of Cat Stevens' music, but I can do without this one. Any song dealing with this lawsuit needs to be erased from the history books and everyone needs to move on with life.

Cat Stevens now known as Yusuf Islam? He just released an album not too long ago. He was out of the scene for some 25 years or so.....not really seeing a lawsuit here...but...lawyers tell you funny things sometimes. Anywho...on with the show.

I still believe this is a pure coincidence but Prince been sued in Italy for similar reasons and he lost so who knows ....

I'm pretty sure Stevens said that while he thinks they took the melody from his song, he isn't planning to sue.
