I had another dream about Music Man guitars last night. I had a dream that my friend bought a limited edition Silo because he saw that Lukather played it. (yes, I know he plays a Luke, but it's MY DREAM!).
Anyway, it had one humbucker and two single coils, all with EMGs. I actually sat down at his amp and played through each one of the five positions. I must say, the neck did have a different feel than the Axis neck and the pickups each had their own distinct characteristics. Position 2 was really quiet and I think something might have been wrong with the wiring. The weird thing is that his LE Silo, was just straight white and it was called the "Big Buff". I don't know what that means, but it was on the guitar in script behind the tremolo.
Now, in reality, I've never played a Silo, but now I feel like I have. I might be inclined to check one out, except for that position two being so quiet.
