Also, I noticed your rig in the set up, are you using the two heads and cabbys for back up reasons, or are you using a two amp stereo set up?

One amp receiving a purely wet signal the other dry?

Hey guys...thanks for the comments...I use both the heads in stereo, so I use just the power amp stage of one of the heads...I am acctually not using Marshalls...this was a show I played in Brazil...so the amps where hired in...the rack is mine...I was using Cornfords, but have just switeched to Blackstar...i am using a Series One 200 head...Its has a speaker simulator out which feeds my effects...I send that signal to a Peavey classic 50 valve power amp and then to 2 cabs...I then have the dry signal from the head coming from the speak out to a dry cab in the middle...so my new rig is wet, dry, wet....its sounds amazing...and i will be touring with this rig in the fall..Jamie

Cornford to Blackstar? Are you and endorsee or just like the amps that much better?

Yeah I am a Blackstar endorsee....I was one of the first Cornford endorsee's, but after 10 years of using the amps Blackstar where the logical progression for me...they make a great product, and offer great suport especially when on the road...i love my Cornford stuff, both products are very different, but at the end of the day I still sound like me!!...the clip above is with Marshall's, its down to your fingers and how you set up your gear...or at least it is too me!!...I love many types of amps...but right now the Blackstar stuff is really hitting the spot....very reliable, great build quality and loads of features...but I wouldn't change my EBMM's for anything!!!!!!

Great stuff! Awesome playin' as always. I've actually seen TAPFS twice in Sweden. Too bad you didn't join 'em for those gigs. :)

I really like your tone! I'm actually playing around with Ceremony quite a bit and trying to learn it. I think I've got :)

Two questions:

1) Is it possible to get a hold of the song (Ceremony) somewhere? Would love to have it on my iPod!

2) Whare are those pickups you're using in your Silo Spec?

Thanks. And I hope you'll post more stuff soon. :)

(Sorry for going off topic with the song...)

Hi Menvafaan...thanks for your comment...yeah Ceremony is avainble from my album simplky called "J"...you can purchase it from the following web page J - Coming Soon!
As for the pickups in my Silo...its was custom built by Dudlel at EDMM, and all the pickups are DiMarzio...it has an FS1 Hotrail in the bridge, i think its an Area 51 in the middle, and an Area 67 in the neck...go to DiMarzio homepage and you will find me in the players list there, and you can click on the list of pickups I use and it will take you straight to the spec page...jamie

Hey jamie, great playing as usual.i met you at Lims for the past 2years and at the forum bash afterwards.enjoyed your playing this year and the stuff from your new album sounded awesome.

I was enquiring myself about the new series one 200 blackstar amps and i know they had one at their stand at LIMS this year but i never got a chance to talk to the guys properly. How versatile are they with tones on the different channels etc?
Im looking to build anew rig from scratch and was orginally set on getting a mesaboogie, maybe the new MarkV but ive heard such good things about all blackstar products recently that its got me interested in them.
Can you offer some advice?

Cheers Jamie,

Colin
