Question Another Neck Swap (looking for a Roasted Silhouette)

There is a local place with a used Gold Roller. The neck is killer (I would remove the finish and oil+wax it). Is there any reason that this neck wouldn't fit into the pocket of my PDN Rosewood Necked Silhouette?

Questions to Ponder:
Is the gold roller pocket any different from a normal Silhouette?
Is the finished neck going to be an issue in the pocket of the non finished neck's guitar?

ALSO! If anyone is wanting to swap an All-Rosewood neck for an All-Roasted Maple neck, I would be willing to throw in a a little dough.
