Another Question About Sterling Guitars
I'm so sorry for this guys, since this is a Musicman forum. I was thinking about buying a new guitar soon and seeing that the JP50 was discontinued, I am now looking at the JP60. I heard that their both pretty much the same guitar, except for the color and inlays. I was wondering how he neck on one feels. My friend plays rhythm guitar in a band and his band's lead guitarist has a EBMM JP6. He said that the neck on it was the best he's ever played on. I wanted to know if the JP60's neck is similar to the JP6's neck. I know it's not high quality like the JP6 but since a lot of people love Sterling JP models then I guess it's sort of the same, right? Also, how is lower fret access? The guitar I have now has a bolt-on neck and 22 frets and the part where the neck is bolted on is uncomfortable. I'm also looking at an Ibanez S420, especially since the area where the neck is bolted on isn't big and distracting. ANyway, I need opinions, facts, etc.

purusant to price range - each respectively is the guitar to get depending on the money you're going to throw that way.

Those are basically the only 2 brands I look for in GC (well maybe one or two other ones "if need be").:)

The thing I am thinking about getting a new guitar maybe next year and the other one I'm looking at is the Ibanez S420. I like how that one looks but the JP60 has a floating trem that doesn't lock so it's easier to tune and change strings. I want to know which one has better tuning stability when going crazy on the bar.

I have no experience with the JP6 but I've never played/owned an Ibanez that had a tuning stability problem from getting dirty on the trem bar. I still have a 1987 S540 (my first guitar) with a Floyd rose and it shreds with the best of them and stays in tune.
