D 08111...... Any ideas? I'm guessing 97, but would like to get the lowdown on this bass.

I believe its an orginal sunburst with rosewood.

Thanks!!! I'm selling my beloved Sterling. In 25 years of playing bass, this is the first bass I'm selling. I've started playing 5's, and just don't pick this one up much anymore. It's to nice to sit hear and not be played, besides I need the funds to invest in my next 5.

Any chance EB will make a bass simlilar to the Bongo but maybe with a more traditional Stingray, or Sterling look? I must be getting old, the Bongo looks.....well, let's just say it's not for me, though I do like the options.

It's on Ebay now, 3 days left.

:D
I've posted it on ebay. I thought I had it sold to a guy in the UK, so I ran out and purchased a new case to ship it in. I'm telling you, I was at guitar center today, and played a few brand new stingray's. This bass plays better than a brand new EB. Not sure why exactly, maybe the set up. Anyhow, she's a beauty!
