So I saw this posted on the EBMM Facebook page.

It looks similar to the Hunter Hayes guitar but it says Cutlass on the headstock with the old school MM logo! So I guess this is one of the two classic models they will be debuting soon.

Things observed:
- Headstock looks slightly longer
- Large dots inlays
- Covered bridge like a JP

I can't wait to see the details of this guitar!

Thanks for posting this! I think HH's guitar has "Cutlass" on headstock as well. I couldn't see it clearly enough before to tell.

I'm surprised by the seemingly longer headstock. Interesting, and would love to hear the reasoning behind that. Not a knock, just curious.

It's cool to see the Majesty type bridge in trem and hardtail versions on the new guitars. I wonder if the HH signature will have a bridge humbucker and an extra switch to do series/parallel or maybe "add bridge".

I really like the look of that!!!

My wallet, on the other hand, is not too happy with all these great new EBMM instruments that are coming out.

Is this a Majesty Hardtail?
I wonder why they went with a longer Headstock. And if the other Production Models will receive the same Length Change?
I can't wait to find out more. Also what Pickups they used.
Hope to see MM in Frankfurt next Year, hopefully they'll come to Musicmesse

I can't speak for EBMM on why the longer headstock, but if I were to guess (and I emphasize guess because I don't know!), it might be:
- They want this guitar to have a "classic" look. If you look at the Cutlass bass and the Sabre guitar of old, they both has the longer looking headstock.
- It might actually sound different than the shorter 4+2 headstock as there is more mass at the top of the neck. My strats don't sound like my EBMM's. I think this may play a small part in that.
- They're listening to user feedback.
- It just looks cool!
