So this tired old computer tech (although it's been years) thinks "Hey, I can do that. Certainly something as simple as adjusting the trussrod." And you're right, it doesn't get much easier (thank you industrial engineers). However........
I found I could turn the wheel (clockwise) with my fingers. Now, my fingers aren't that small and they certainly aren't that strong. So I'm thinking this shouldn't be.
Any suggestions? And my apologies if I'm out of line and should just call customer service.

oh, and the current height at the 12th fret is 4/32 for both the E and G strings. I get some fret buz at that height.
