I step away from the forum for a couple of weeks (business trip, got to put the guitars down and earn a living sometimes :( ), and in the meantime you've picked up an AL? With MM90's?  Cool! Congrats on the new wood!

Where have you been playing the Mesas, over at Larry Morgan? Just curious.

I definitely want to get a look at that new AL... :D

Hey Mike welcome home, thank God I do not have to travel any more, yea I know, sold another guitar on EBay and turned it into the AL. It is a great guitar, got it from Pete, yea been going over to Larry Morgans, it is close to the house and they have several amps to test. I really like the 5:25 express especially for the price.

There is another thread called the answer is and it has pics of the AL.:)

We need to plan a get together in the future so I can bring the AL and Luke and let you try them out.:D

Thanks, I did hear a 5:25 with an SSS Silo and also quit liked it. I think the head and a 2X12 with a MM90 AL should be awesome!!

I had a similar experience once, except the employees (the gearheads) started telling me that I should've just bought the OLP, since its "exactly the same, only cheaper".... and this WAS A EB/MM DEALERSHIP. In fact, I bought my Axis from another branch of the same store. I didn't sweat it much though, I know from experience that most of them are 'salesmen' and not musicians.

Kinda like how the mexican str@ts are better than my Sub and cost less
