Hello All,

I've finally traveled ( at ludicrous speed) into the 21st century, and joined an online forum. I've been playing Bongos since January '04. I have a Bongo 5 HS, a Limited '05 5 string HH, and a Fretless 5 HH, and love them all. I also use ernie ball Flatwounds, and the result is a Fat, Punchy, yet clean tone.

I've been touring quite a bit, and people everywhere are intrigued by this oddly beautiful bass. After every show, at least a couple of people ask about them. The guys in my band make fun of me because they alwasy hear me say " ....Its the new Musicman Bongo...."

Anyway... I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Cheers,

Basstoes

Welcome aboard, Mister Toes.

Now we have Oldtoe and Basstoes. I don't want to think about what's next, but hey, I've been known to play a Bongo or two myself. I seem to have some flatwounds around here, too.....we're already friends!

As BP says, next up for you is The Secret Weapon - the single H Bongo.

Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcomes!! Big Poppa... I think we already get along just fine. I'm still always thinking of words that sound dirty but aren't.

I haven't tried the single H yet. I now have a new mission!!!

Cheers,

See y'all soon !!

Welcome to the forum Basstoes. Have fun here. I own up to playing a bongo 5 h with flats on it. I don't tour. I don't play well. I get lots of money for my gigs though :)

Puess? Very nice. You are a very cunning linguist.

T Karter... I'm sure you play better than you give yourself credit for. Touring is great, but its not for everyone. Sounds like you're doing just fine...playing music and making $$.

Welcome. It's a great place here, and I can say that after only being here a short time myself. In any case, it's a friendly community with great people, and there's not much that's better than that.
