My info is they are new to selling guitars, and havent sold any yet, so i would be cautious of new sellers, due to inexperience in selling and shipping. Checking their feedback, the last feedback they got was from 5 years ago, I would be VERY cautious.

Besides I don't see a dealer listed on the EBMM page and free shipping to the US is fishy. Thanks.

He has 5 ESPs and 2 Silos up for sale, I would just ask him every question you would like to know and if you like it that bad buy it. As buckethead stated, as long as you use Paypal you are 100% covered if the item does not come as described.

He is ready to sell outside Australia and by doing that he is breaking EBMM distribution rules so I doubt the guitars are new...

that sort of thing usually means he accidentally listed shipping to US when he probably didnt mean to.

i see it in reverse all the time, "free shipping to australia" - commit to buy - "oh sorry, we don't ship to australia" - "oh ok thanks moron, no worries"

A person by the name of "Ash" responded to my questions. Confirmed it was "new" as I would be the first owner and free shipping to the states. Stated that they buy and sell guitars all day. I asked about the serial number, of course the guitar is packed and ready for shipment and can't be unpacked. Something just doesn't feel or sound right.

the serial number will be on both ends of the box outside. EBMM ships every new guitar that way

Sounds very dodgy to me, l'd leave it be, it's nice to have a new EBMM guitar, it's not nice to loose money to some scammer.

Paypal protection is all very well,,,,,but you might end up waiting to get your refund.
Basically this is an account with zero feedback as a seller that has just started "selling" high price guitars. They claim to have several "warehouse's"(sic) yet can't provide basic information on the product.
My money would stay in my pocket

They had a gorgeous blue quilt top axis up last week. I wrote to ask if the guitar being sold was the actual one in the picture. I got a quick and pleasant enough response that said yes, and that the particular guitar would be shipped from one of their US warehouses. I was wondering how many warehouses they had or needed, and while nothing specifically told me to run away, something told me to pass and that's what I did.

Paypal protection is not a guarantee to easy process resolution. Yes, they are quick to go after sellers if there is a complaint, but if the seller doesn't have the money in their Paypal account when Paypal tries to take it back from you, well, some old saying about squeezing blood from a turnip comes to mind.
