maybe a stupid question to you at EBMM, but is there any chance, that we could see a Dark Lord with a Floyd Tremolo someday?
i mean, it shouldn´t be a big deal to make these happen, blackburst is now a regular color on the Y2D and this guitar is available with tremolo.
it´s just adding a locking nut to the DL neck.

why do i ask for this?
because i love the Y2Ds and i love my Dark Lord, but i´m more a tremolo guy. the fatter neck size of the Dark Lord is more and more feeling better in my hands as the regular Y2D neck, so i thought, woulnd´t it be great to have a DL with tremolo as well.

BP, AJ or anybody else at EBMM, thanks for your reply!

Hi Joe,

You could have a good luthier add a Floyd to your Dark Lord. I know it's a drastic move, but that would solve your problem.

I agree that the Dark Lord's neck is very comfortable. Be brave!

if there is no chance to see a DL trem. version, i could get a regular trans black Y2D, buy another DL and change the necks....add a locking nut to the DL neck...but this would be a very expensive way!
adding a floyd to my DL is not an option for me. i would like to have a hardtail and a trem verison of this guitar. ;)

But, if you buy a Y2D with a Floyd and swap necks, you'll end up with a DL with a hardtail and a Floyd locking nut Y2D neck.

I agree that it's nice to have at least one hardtail in your collection.

No easy answers...good luck!

you´re right, i would end up with a black burst hardtail guitar with a locking nut, but this should work. i don´t have to close the locking nut, just let it open, i mean, it would be a hardtail guitar in the end.
