I understand this is a Japan made Axis/EVH copy model.

Anyone have or played one? I'm eyeing a killer trans green quilt top and it costs about the same as a US Axis and won't have a chance to play it without buying it so if any one can compare the neck profile and pups to a regular Axis or EVH, that would be highly appreciated.

there are couple of threads dealing with that model (sorry but I have no time to dig this morning :p ) and I think that one of the forumites got the 2 models and did a side by side comparaison.

hope this helps

I owned one but the quality control wasnt quite up with the US Axis (bodies and necks are Japanese made, everything else is as US version) - Neck and fretboard from two different slices of maple, clearcoat slightly orange peely...

Biggest killer is the neck...it was like holding the thick end of a baseball bat and nothing like the US Axis neck...

If it was me I'd go American :D
