I'm dying for that new 7 String model. :D

Any idea of when it'll be available, or how much it's going to cost (I'm dreading the price!), please?

you should contact your local dealer. They should be able to give you a price quote at least. they can place orders NOW. so when they place your order they can get an estimate delivery time from their distributor.

if you order now it will probably be 6-7 months before you have it (thats my guess).

Thanks for the suggestion, I emailed a dealer in the UK about it.

cool man. if your dealer doesnt have all the info it may be due to the fact that everything is so new and the reps from Strings and Things (UK distibutor) probably just got back to their offices from their trip to NAMM.

if they dont have all the info yet you can ping the folks at Strings n Things and see what they can tell you.

My understanding (aka guess) is the guitars havent his production yet (since they were only officially announced 5 days ago) but my other guess is that an order is an order so they should hit the EU about the same time they hit the streets here (maybe a tiny bit later).

good luck

Just to confirm what others have stated before.....

As a UK dealer we can order product but havent got final prices from Strings & Things - these should be available in the next few days.

Remember on BFR guitars you can basically choose colour and whether its quilt or flame. Thats about it.

They were killer though.

Thanks for the info so far. I've never ordered a EBMM before, so I've no idea what the procedure is

Oh, that's interesting. So they all come "Fully loaded" is it?

Dave,

I'm not sure you can choose quilt or flame on the BFR. I hope they go that route, but I contacted EBMM for build codes for the BFR Petruccis and there were no codes to indicate quilt or flame. Again, I'm hoping that's just a minor detail that will be addressed, but only BP and Dargie can make that call.

But on the flyers that were on the stand it says "quilt or flame".

EB people.....?

Dave

+1, DaveB!

I can't wait for the EBMM gang to weigh in on this after they recover from NAMM and get a minute to breathe.

For me, being able to choose quilt or flame will be a determining factor in purchasing a BFR versus a 2007 LE.

Either way, I'll be contributing to Poppa's new shoes in 2007! ;)

I hope you can specify - I mean if you had seen the flame on that Luke and ordered one no matter what quilt turned up it wouldnt be the same......

I will be talking to Strings & Things and will let you know asap.

Sent a few emails, but I didn't hear anything back, and it's been a few weeks.

Did you happen to get any info, DaveB?
