I've only had my guitar for a few days, so I'm still getting to know it, but I noticed that the single coils (both the pickups themselves and the polepieces) are set very low on the treble side. I was wondering if raising them up would add a little more bite to the tone?

thanks

i've been known to tinker w/ a morse or two in my day.......

i like mine low.
they sound more open w/better definition. plus......the closer you put the magnets to the stings.......the more your intonation will quiver. i also keep my humbuckers low.
what i lose in gain is way worth what i get back in definition. plus my amp has tons of very high quality gain availible built in...... :D

I noticed in the Y2D video that BP mentioned they came from the factory low, Due to the pickups being designed for that. I love to know the factory specs so I can check my Morse.

Might have to try loweing mine a tad then.
Might be time to pull it out (last time was in may in the very capable hands of norm).
