Well this room is full of one-offs. :D

No keep in mind that not all of theses are Silo Specials, but there are a few in there and a few early Silos in Special configuration.

I thought Tim's was glacier blue sparkle with that almost greenish tint rather than stratus blue, which is definitely a bluer colour?

I know the Gremlin Green AL is not a one off with respect to color, but the only other one that I know of is BP's - although his is a hardtail piezo and mine is a trem - so it may be considered unique. And he has even commented of it being a rare beast. Plus if he ever wants to trade straight up, I've always been more of a hardtail guy :D

Mike you might be right about Tims ASS.

Your AL I would have scooped up man if it didn't have the matching headstock. Though i have to agree with you there man, I do prefer the hardtails too. Currently I don't have a trem model in my possession. Agreed BP's Gremlin Green AL is sweet!!! :D

He said the samething about my Gold Sparkle Silo Special man.

Actually no that was made for the guitarist that took over for Don Felder of the Eagles. There are 2, he has 1 and EBMM has the other, that's the one that you see. BP did hint at a run of limited quantity of double neck guitars.

All of those pictures are from the Open House back in 2005 at Music Man in SLO.

There'll be another 20 doublenecks coming.

Where or where is the mother of all AL's? "Oh Goldilocks!!"

How 'bout Tony Levin's "warranty repair"?

Hello Sterling. I am having some trouble with the neck of my custom 3 string, and have shipped it to you to adjust. Sincerely, t.l.

Days later, I received this answer:

We have received your bass. Please be advised that this instrument is out of warranty. California no longer allows smoking in bars, which has substantially reduced the odor problem your bass exudes. We have otherwise checked it out and everything appears to be to factory specifications.
Regards

Love the black and red ASS, and though I'm not much into sparkles, that blue one would make me consider it.

Don't forget that Blues also has the Luke with 3 single coils.

Then of course there's Lisa Loeb's Pink Sparkle AL.

Loaded Burnt Apple Pet 6.

I don't have official conformation that it's a one off but I've never seen or heard of another.
